With Chris Brown’s birthday today, we hoped to report that Rihanna was set for her first public performance since the “alleged” brutal assault by her ex.
But the upcoming show has been abruptly scrapped.
The 21-year-old R&B star had been scheduled to perform later this month in the United Arab Emirates. But Yassin Matbouly, of concert organizer Vibe Entertainment Management Agency, said in a statement that Rihanna’s not ready.

Yesterday afternoon, human rights advocate and lawyer Gloria Allred filed a petition to appoint a guardian for the eight infant children of Nadya Suleman.
The goal of the child labor lawsuit is to ensure they are financially represented.
“In the case of the octuplets, rather than choosing to provide her children with a normal life, their mother has chosen instead to commercially exploit them,” Allred said in a statement on behalf of Paul Peterson, a child labor advocate.

A bar bouncer and a couple of friends have already spoken out in defense of Jon Gosselin, saying the reality star and father of eight does not cheat on his wife.
Now, the woman at the heart of these allegations has revealed herself. Deanna Hummel told People that she and Gosselin are mere acquaintances.
“We’re just friends,” Hummel said. “It’s absurd that anyone would think otherwise.”

While Britney Spears is busy getting accosted by drunk fans on her Circus tour, a couple of her former clowns are starring in their own shows in L.A.
Spears’ ex-manager Sam Lutfi and former boyfriend Adnan Ghalib appeared in separate hearings yesterday. Both shady hangers-on have already been banned from further contact with their former meal ticket through at least 2012.
Now the courts are sorting through the legal fallout.

Bollywood’s baadshah SRK, is known to do things King size and the actor has gone ahead and bought himself a vanity van, a whooping 14 meters long designed by Dilip Chhabarai.
Dilip says, “We delivered Shah Rukh his van a week ago. It took us four whole months to build it, making it one of our most ambitious projects. Normally, we design vans that are eight to nine metres in length. But this one’s 14 metres long. But since a 14-metre van can’t be easily navigated, we’ve used a hydraulic system that enables the van to reduce in size when in motion. It can later expand to double its size when stationary.”

A source reveals, mran Khan few days back found a brown doberman puppy in the bylanes of Pali Hill area where he resides. The sweet chap that he is, Imran actually tracked down the owner of the puppy and went to him with his lost thing. But the owner though acknowledged the fact that it was his puppy, he surprised Imran saying, he didn’t want to keep it anymore that is why he left him. Imran then actually took the puppy to his own home and since then is treating him as his own pet. Its a female dog and Imran and his mom Nuzhat are enjoying its company a lot nowadays.”

Saif says, “The role has not only made me more politically aware, it has also made me more religious. Earlier, I was more spiritual than religious. I knew a lot of things about Islam and always believed in the higher power. But when I did a lot of reading on Islam, the one most decisive thing that I learnt had to do with Allah. We tend to presume Allah to be the Muslim God. But Allah is the Arab word for the ‘same God’, or the ‘one true God’ that, I thought, was a wonderful thing to learn while doing this character. All religions believe in the oneness of God. So what’s all the fighting about? Whether it’s Christianity, Islam or Judaism, many of the religions have fought a holy war at one time or another. It’s been a part of religious history.”
